Description

Endearingly labelled as the Venice of WA, the Mandurah and Peel region is famous for its stunning natural beauty and abundance of marine wildlife, notably home to WA’s largest dolphin population inhabiting the Mandurah canal network. Experience all the wonders of the relaxed coastal tour of Mandurah and the stunning Peel region on an easy paced day tour.

We travel south from Perth heading into the Peel region famed for its stunning coastline and abundant aquatic wildlife. After leaving the city we head through Mandurah onto Lake Clifton to view the over 2000 year old thrombolite reef, the largest reef of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

Following this we stop for included morning tea in the Cape Bouvard area. We then head north into the City of Mandurah for the real highlight of the day to join Mandurah Cruises for a 1.5 h Dolphin Adventure cruise aboard their purpose built dolphin safari vessel. On board this fully enclosed vessel we go in search of the largest residential population of the famed Bottlenose Dolphins in Western Australia to witness these amazing creatures up close throughout the expansive Peel-Harvey estuary; together with the abundant birdlife that call Mandurah home. Whilst built for speed, the vessel is used for its ability to quickly manoeuvre to capture the beauty of the dolphins in action and is fully stabilised to assure a comfortable ride.

Following this fascinating 1.5 hour expertly commented cruise, lunch is provided back on shore; with plenty of free time after lunch afforded for shopping and souvenir hunting along the scenic Mandurah foreshore and boardwalk before heading back to Perth along the freeway arriving approximately at 4.00pm.
