This 12-hour tour runs all year so city hotel pick-ups are between 8:40am and 10:15am depending on the month due to the changing time of sunset, you'll be notified of your precise timing during booking. You'll get a taste of Perth's laid-back, luxury lifestyle in a very stylish minibus, relaxed atmosphere and limited to 9 people ensures a more personalised and fun experience.

Your first destination is a short drive into the heart of the Swan Valley to an art gallery where even if you're not usually interested in artwork you will still be intrigued and amazed by the artist's technique and incredible talent. Thomas, the artist and owner of Illusionary Art, uses an industrial power tool on sheet metal to create 3D images that are very difficult to believe are possible. Prepare to have your mind blown!

The next stop is an area of great significance to Aboriginal people past and present. Today it's a memorial to Yagan, a warrior who was surrounded by controversy during his life and death. Yagan's story spans more than 180 years and forms part of what shaped Western Australia and is regarded as one of the most important stories in Australian history in respect of cultural differences.

Another short drive takes you to Maalinup, the only Aboriginal owned and operated gallery in WA. Here you'll be looked after by the owners Dale and Lyall. Taste a wide range of bush tucker inspired food products and admire paintings by leading artists and glass, wood and giftware meticulously hand painted by local Aboriginals. They have emus too! The perfect opportunity to purchase an authentic souvenir and take some fun photos.

Leaving the Swan Valley you head north to Gingin, one of the earliest settled areas in the State. The picturesque Granville Park in the town center is surrounded by historical buildings and overlooked by your lunch venue, CU@Park. The café is full of country charm, selling local craftwork in addition to delicious meals lovingly prepared by the owner and your lunchtime host, Renae.

After a drive through farming and wildflower country you'll arrive in Lancelin, home to huge white sand dunes, popular with adventure seekers and sightseers. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the majestic views and lots of laughs trying to stay on a sand-board, if you're brave enough to try! Highly recommended for all ages.

Drive along the Turquoise Coast to Nambung National Park, home to the extraordinary and mystical Pinnacles, the highlight of your day. Arriving as the crowds are leaving you'll have plenty of time to enjoy an informative guided walk before driving deeper into the desert around sundown. Keep your fingers crossed for one of WA's famously spectacular sunsets and lookout for wildlife waking up from their afternoon snooze. Touch the Pinnacles, dance among their shadows and say hello to billions of stars as the big sky falls asleep.
